Mmmm. Yogurt.

We're always a little heartbroken when it comes time to leave Montana. We had a great week of skiing and being with family in one of our favorite places. I even got to catch up with a former student who graciously skied the scary stuff with Shawn, taking me off the hook a bit!

We got back to St Cloud around 3 am. Mia had just two words for us- "Night, Night". Maybe we'll wait a while before we tell her our plans for next year's return trip to Bozeman!

Hard at play...

One of Mia's many kisses for her sister...

Alli let her Auntie know when enough pictures had been taken!

Best part of the trip? The bathroom!

Tuesday was Auntie Amy's day to play with the girls. She had lots of fun photos to share with us when she got home. Most surprising was the extensive collection of shots in the bathroom! It was Mia and Allison's favorite place to play. By the end of the trip, they were even saying (their version of...) the word 'bath'!

El Rancho Picante!

Our home for the week- Complete with beautiful mountain vistas and eventually, even a working hot tub!

Mia and Allison loved fake falling on the sofa and spent lots of time crawling around, exploring the cabinets, and thankfully, avoiding the steep stairs!

View from the porch...

View from the kitchen window...
...and to top all of that, BONGOS!

Westward ho!

Our family spent Valentine's Day packing and preparing for our ski trip to Bozeman MT. We loaded up the car, four adults and two babes, for a 6:30 pm departure from St Cloud. Mia and Allison impressed us once again with their ability to sleep all night while belted into their car seats. It was definitely not a night without disruptions, as the adults in the car rotated shifts of driving, supervising, and trying to rest. Despite those interruptions, the girls woke up chipper and ready for a Montana breakfast! We rolled in to Bozeman around 11 am and checked into a hotel for stair climbing, swimming, and, after the 13+ hour car ride, some much needed napping!

What are these for!?

So were off to Montana once again. This time we'll be in Bozeman skiing for a week. Grandpa Ken, Auntie Amy, Shawn and I will all take turns either skiing or staying at the cabin to play with Mia and Alli. As you can tell from the photo, the ski equipment we have doesn't quite fit them yet... Maybe next year!

Things are looking up...

The girls are feeling better, finally! They did manage to take me down with them, and Shawn can be heard coughing a bit too lately. Hopefully we'll all be back to 100% soon!

'RSV' RSVP-ed, "I'm in!"

No longer the 'happy reader', Mia got sick after her well-child visit last week. She is miserable and incredibly snuggly which we both hate and love respectively. Alli has started to show the same symptoms so she'll most likely be boarding the RSV bus soon as well. Both girls got monthly shots last year to prevent getting this nasty bug. We hope they're big enough and strong enough now to avoid some of the complications that can result from it. Please wish for a speedy recovery!

Back in business!!!

These are some pictures from before the camera met its tragic end. Ever since Christmas, Mia and Allison have been all about sitting on things, from boxes to books. I took it as a hint that I should bring in their chairs from the garage and sure enough, they were a big hit. It is so funny to look out into the living room and see them sitting next to each other just paging through their books!
